** Important Hat Fitting Info**
How a hat should fit:A hat should fit snug, not tight. Often there is a fine line between the two. A hat should be snug enough that you can bend over to pick something up without it falling off your head, but not so tight that it pinches or squeezes. Comfort is key.The hatters “Rule of Thumb” - A hat should not sit more then a thumbs width, meaning the widest part of your thumb, above the ears. There are exceptions, particularly those who’s head has a taller crown, as long as the hat fits comfortably and looks proportionate you should be ok.Your hat should also not push down on your ears. Touching or grazing your ears is fine, as long as it feels comfortable. If your fall between sizes it is best to go up. A hat sizing piece can be tucked under the sweatband to cushion a hat and give it a tailored fit.
